ABOUT US

Simon’s passion for cars started when he was a small boy, helping look after the family Riley. Simon’s Dad and uncle built a car during the 1950’s, so it seems it was in the bloodline already. Simon learnt to drive in a Triumph Herald and worked for local main dealers which helped fuel the car love: selling Talbot, Fiat, Peugeot, Toyota, BMW, and Mitsubishi.  Caroline fell in love with cars during the 1990’s when Simon was working for a BMW dealership and the company car changed every day. Oh and that iconic VW Golf advert with Paula Hamilton about to put the cars keys down the drain….. Together we started Simon Shield Cars Ltd, in 1996 and we’re still on the same forecourt in Great Bricett today. Come and see us.
